Who we are
We are a faith-based sports ministry that exists to lead athletes into a deeper relationship with Jesus, helping them discover their true worth, purpose, and freedom beyond performance. We long to see a generation of athletes move from having sports on the throne to putting Jesus back on the throne — over their hearts, their games, and their lives.
From the field to the locker room, we meet athletes where they are — mentoring, teaching, worshiping, and walking with them as they learn what it means to compete with excellence and live with devotion.
Our mission is to reach, disciple, and empower athletes to live boldly for Jesus Christ — to compete with integrity, lead with humility, and worship with surrender. Through camps, Bible studies, lessons, worship nights, and outreach events,we help athletes experience the transforming love of Christ and discover everything He has for them.
We are Driven by passion for the game — but even more Devoted to the One who gave it to us.
Because when athletes know who they are in Christ, the field becomes a place of worship, the game becomes ministry, and every moment becomes an opportunity to glorify God.
We’re not just building stronger athletes.
We’re building Kingdom leaders — loved, chosen, and redeemed by Jesus Christ.
Madison’s (founder) Story
Hi, I’m Madison Jellison.
Growing up, softball was everything to me. I worked harder than anyone I knew, and I found my worth in achievement. That drive earned me a Division I scholarship to the University of Toledo, First Team All-State honors, and recognition as one of the top players in Ohio—named by the Columbus Dispatch, Newark Advocate, Central District, and LCL Player of the Year.
But no matter how many awards I received, I never felt fulfilled. I never felt like I was enough.
My senior year of high school, I tore my ACL and meniscus. It was devastating—especially after my team finished as Division I State Runner-Up the year before. Shortly after, I left the University of Toledo and walked away from softball entirely—everything I had spent my entire life working toward.
When the sport was gone, I didn’t know who I was anymore.
For most of my life, I believed my value came from what I could do. When that identity crumbled, I spiraled. I developed a severe eating disorder and spent a year and a half battling for my health.
In July of 2024, everything changed.
While on vacation, I surrendered my heart and my life to Jesus Christ—and He completely transformed me. Jesus healed me from my eating disorder, broke the chains of anxiety, comparison, and depression, and met me in ways I never thought possible.
But the greatest thing God has done in my life is opening my eyes to His love.
For the first time, I truly understood that I am fully and unconditionally loved—not because of my performance, my achievements, or anything I can earn—but because I am His daughter and I belong to Him.
That love changed my life.
That love set me free.
And it is a love I would trade everything for.
And that is the love I want athletes to experience.
Through Driven & Devoted, I am on a mission to help athletes break free from performance-based identity and discover who they are in Christ—so they can compete from a place of freedom, confidence, and purpose, not pressure.
